VETERINARIAN

Dr. Kylee Dunfield is thrilled to become a part of the Westhills team! Originally from Grande Prairie, she moved to Calgary to attend the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with distinction in the spring of 2025. Her path to veterinary medicine was inspired not only by a lifelong love of all animals, but also by a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with the people who care for them.

Dr. Dunfield is a Fear Free certified practitioner passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and their people. She is especially dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond through compassionate care. She enjoys all areas of general practice with a particular interest in dermatology, dentistry, and preventative medicine. 

Kylee grew up competing in 3-day eventing and show jumping, and today she enjoys spending time in the saddle recreationally—with hopes of returning to the show ring in the future. Outside of work, she loves traveling, reading, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. A recent addition to her family is her adopted cat, Gigi! She looks forward to meeting you and providing thoughtful care to your beloved pets!
