VETERINARIAN

Dr. Jill Girgulis is a level 3 fear-free certified practitioner. She completed two years of an undergraduate degree in neuroscience before pursuing veterinary medicine at the University of Calgary. Throughout her veterinary degree, she spent time at various clinics in Alberta, and has been interested in small animal medicine since day one. Jill graduated in 2020 and joined the team at Westhills Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2020, and is excited to have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with her new clients and their animals. Living in Calgary her whole life, Jill grew up in a busy family of three sisters and several dogs and cats over the years. The menagerie currently includes one senior cat, two Border Collies, and an Australian Shepherd.

Jill is also a longtime writer and contributes articles to local arts organizations, in addition to writing humour pieces, movie reviews, and short fiction. She enjoys attending classical concerts and watching movies, and is always looking for any opportunity to appreciate the artistic talents of others.
